In the thrilling new Disney animated film MOANA (to be released this November 23rd), Dwayne Johnson is the voice of "Maui" the character who is truly a "character," giving the movie it's comedic factor.  Moana, a little princess, realizes her purpose when the ocean literally rises up to meet her, and at the age of 13 she sets sail in search of the demigod Maui to save her island and it's people.  It has an artistically imaginative fantasy underwater world, a wonderful plot, and a scary lava monster that...(no spoiler alert from me).

Songs and music were composed and written by: Lin-Manuel Miranda (uber talented rapper, composer, actor and writer of Hamilton),  Opetaia Foa'i, and Mark Mancina.

The World Premiere, Monday night, held at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, California was absolutely packed to full capacity, as everyone hoped to get a glimpse of Dwayne Johnson. Dozens upon dozens of publications' photographers lined one side of the long tented structure of the V.I.P. area.  Polynesian dancers performed a mix of flowingly beautiful and upbeat Hula dancing in the theatre isles and upper balconies to the beat of the authentic island drummers on stage.

The V.I.P. pre-party had every detail to make it feel like Polynesia. Guests were welcomed with fresh flower leis, luau like food included such things as pulled pork sliders, mini pineapple upside down cakes, coconut cupcakes, Dole pineapple & banana whip beverages, and more.

Tori Spelling was among the guests who brought her children to see the premiere, including her bun in the oven 5th child-to-be.

The movie is a must-see for all ages this month!
