Excellent Food, Atmosphere, & Service! The open air bar and patio were buzzing at 9 p.m. on a Wednesday night, as the bartenders mixed their shakers to the upbeat music. The Avocado Roll was fantastic with big chunks of avocado and tender rice. The ginger was so fresh and sweet that it tasted like candy. I had ordered the White Tuna Sashimi, and they were all out of it, so the chef, himself, came out to apologize, as did Rachel, who was an exceptional server! I had the Yellow Tail Sashimi instead, and it was spectacular and so fresh, it was like butter. The Teriyaki Salmon was cooked perfectly (moist and flaky) and was served with incredible coconut rice & grilled asparagus. I didn't have room for dessert, but Rachel highly recommends the Bananas Foster Spring Roll. It was a wonderful overall experience.
If you're craving a juicy, aged steak cooked to perfection, and wonderful a la carte side dishes, call Fleming's for reservations. They are usually at full capacity, and you may wait for your food, but the servers are excellent, and it's a place to enjoy the ambiance and wine. The extensive wine list is on an interactive iPad that includes the wine ratings and pairing suggestions. Although, I usually prefer the filet mignon, the seafood is exceptional, and the apple-mustard pork chop is delicious, however I have found the chicken disappointing. The best sides to share are the Fleming's cheesy potatoes with jalapenos, Chipotle mac & cheese, creamed spinach, and grilled asparagus. It is also a nice place take someone for their birthday as Fleming's will present them with a small signature box of chocolates and gift card for return visit. One interesting note is that the well drinks have a large round ice cube, which although very trendy, it does fill the whole glass leaving very little of the pricy drinks. Steaks range from $40. to $60. and sides (for two) are $11.
