Have you ever heard of Katherine Johnson?

NO?

That is EXACTLY why they made the movie

HIDDEN FIGURES!

SHE was the one who figured out the mathematical trajectory that successfully sent astronaut JOHN GLENN into orbit.

TRUE STORY

It was about to end up like all of the previous launches (down to the very last minute)! She was a mathematical prodigy, who solved what others could not. She and two other women (Dorothy Vaughn & Mary Jackson), in a time when no one talked about African-American women working at such a place as NASA,

boldly went where no woman had gone before.

Find out how it all went down
when NASA got our first astronaut launched into space.

It is in theatres January 6th, 2017,

REVIEW:

FACTOR'S FAMOUS DELI
9420 W Pico Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90035
(310)-278-9175

The name says it. It's a Famous Delicatessen that's been there since the 1940s! As soon as you walk in, you see the impressive selection of desserts, deli items (everything), brick walls, basket decor hanging from the ceiling, baskets of deli items & signed sports memorabilia from every athlete and team imaginable . You'll have to see the photo to see what I mean; the deli area is totally legit. The host seats you in the casual dining area which has comfortable booths with wood tables, but the outside has several tables with black tablecloths, and they have valet parking, so there's a nice dichotomy. I had their corned beef sandwich with macaroni salad, and I loved their macaroni salad. If I lived there, I would definitely bring that, their deli meats, and some of their desserts back home. They are famous for their pickled cucumber slices that have a sweetness rather than a "dill pickle" taste. (see photo) The service was wonderful! My friend who lives in L.A. wanted to make sure that I had the experience of tasting them, however the waiter (He may have been the owner) had said that they weren't serving them for lunch that day. My friend said, "Can you go make some for her?," and he DID.
