Thai Lettuce Wraps

Lettuce Wraps


1 pound (16 oz. of Ground Pork
1 head of Butter Lettuce
4 oz. Water Chestnuts
2 teaspoons of Sriracha sauce*
1 teaspoon of fresh minced Ginger (or 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of powdered ginger)
2 Green Onions
2 Cups of Slaw Mix (from pre-packaged bag)
3 sprigs of Cilantro (or Parsley)
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper

Hoisin Sauce:

4 T. Soy Sauce
2 teaspoons Sesame Seed Oil
1 T. Honey
2 teaspoons white Vinegar
1/8 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/8 teaspoon Onion Powder
1 T Peanut Butter
1/4 teaspoon Sriracha sauce*

*Add more if you'd like it hotter. 
(tidbit: Sriracha is pronounced "see-ROTCH-ah." The first r is silent.)

Asian Sesame Seed Dipping Sauce:

3 teaspoons Sesame Seed Oil
1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 T. Honey
Top with Sesame Seeds
